Fulton Science Academy MS Announced as National Blue Ribbon School

Fulton Science Academy Charter Middle School has been selected by the U.S. Department of Education as a 2011 Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. The school will be honored at a formal ceremony in Washington D.C., Nov.  14-15. The Blue Ribbon School Program honors public and private K-12 schools for their academic excellence and ability to help students achieve at very high scholastic levels.

Four Atlanta School Board Candidates Voice Positions on Charter Schools

Four of the five candidates for the vacant Atlanta Board of Education District 2 seat have completed a brief questionnaire  from the Georgia Charter Schools Association, giving insight into their positions on charter schools.  All expressed at least moderate support for charter schools in their responses.
