Gateway to College Academy – Early College Charter HS (DeKalb County)

Mission: Gateway to College’s mission is to recover disengaged youth and high school dropouts ages 16-20 and re-channel them into the educational pipeline.

Vision: We believe that all students have the capacity to achieve in the collegiate environment, including students who have not yet experienced success in the traditional K-12 system. Gateway to College Academy is a scholarship program for DeKalb County School System (DCSD) students ages 16 through 20 or are classified as a high school sophomore, junior or senior with at least six high school units, who meet in-state eligibility requirements, who have not been successful in high school but who wish to get back on track and earn a high school diploma.

The Gateway to College Academy is changing lives. Many Gateway to College graduates across the country have gone on to pursue four-year degrees and challenging careers. In short, Gateway to College provides an opportunity for students to re-invent themselves for their future. Gateway to College Academy is accredited by SACS CASI.
