Charter Montessori school gets go ahead

After months of back and forth about whether or not a new charter school will open in Chatham County, the Savannah-Chatham County Board of Education gave the Coastal Empire Montessori Charter school the go ahead.  The portables are ready for the students they just needed their certificate of occupancy.  For the next couple of weeks, teachers will continue to get the classrooms ready for the 125 4-year-olds and 5-year-olds enrolled in the program.
