Position Summary:
The WACS office manager will provide administrative and secretarial support to the school Principal and will coordinate with teachers to manage all student records for WACS and maintain the school calendar. Additionally, the office manager will order supplies and coordinate school functions under the direction of the Principal.

Support and promote Westside Atlanta Charter School’s focus on literacy and language development through the partnership of the Rollins Center of the Atlanta Speech School and a student-centered approach to learning.

Sample Duties:
Assist school visitors and answer school phone
Support purchasing, receipts, and financial systems working with Office Manager and Principal
Update WACS website periodically
Assist with lunchroom set-up and tear-down
Lead student records data management through APS Infinite Campus system
Maintain student records and provide timely records transfer requests
Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
A baccalaureate or higher degree
Administrative experience preferably in the field of education
Experience interacting with financial systems
Experience operating under strict financial controls
High level of comfort with web and Microsoft Office
Strong and clear communication and presentation skills
A proven track record of working well with others
Keen attention to detail
Clear and courteous communication skills
Be willing to take on new tasks; “can-do” positive attitude
Strong organizational skills
The Office Manager position at WACS is designed to be a part-time position in year one, growing to a full-time position in year two.
