Position Summary:
The WACS business manager will serve as the school CFO and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school’s business records and financial status. The business manager will report regularly to the WACS Principal and would report as needed (not less than monthly) to the WACS Board of Directors. Additionally, the business manager will be responsible for compiling the annual report of academic progress as well as overseeing the annual financial audit. Finally, the business manager will coordinate or complete miscellaneous school business functions as assigned by the school Principal.

Sample Duties:
Select and implement WACS financial systems
Implement financial controls working with Office Manager and Principal
Prepare monthly financial reporting for Board of Director meetings
Lead vendor selection and procurement process
Support student records data management through APS Infinite Campus system
Implement Payroll for all employees.
Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
(a) A baccalaureate or higher degree in business, accounting, or finance from an accredited college or university and a minimum of four years experience in a field related to business or finance; or (b) Documented experience of ten or more years in the field of business and financial management.
CPA qualification preferred
Strong financial background, preferably in education finance
Experience with implementation and oversight of financial systems
Experience with implementing and executing financial controls
Experience creating auditable processes and interacting with auditors
High level of comfort with data systems and data analysis
A keen analytical mind
Strong and clear communication and presentation skills
A proven track record of working well with others
