Fulton Leadership Academy – Special Education Coordinator (Immediate Opening)

The Special Education Coordinator/Teacher is responsible for ensuring that all students with disabilities receive comprehensive, compassionate, and equitable services in order to achieve breakthrough academic achievement and character development. Additionally, this position will oversee the programs and systems for all students who receive special education services, and support all staff in the implementation of high quality services.  S/he will serve as the lead manager of accountability for compliance with all federal and state law and reporting requirements, ensuring quality assurance with all paperwork, data, and other mandated records.  The Special Education Coordinator will lead professional development at various times of the year and meet with teachers weekly to help problem solve and plan interventions for students.

Salary for this position is based on a $36,500 annual salary. FLA offers a competitive benefits program.
