Provost Academy Georgia – Part Time Bookkeeper (Atlanta)

Job Summary:

Assist in organizing daily accounting functions

Main Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Process payroll through payroll company
  • Managing varies funding accounts and their activities
  • Special tasks per management request
  • Coordinate with Accountant on month end closing process

Requirements for this position:

  • Experience with QuickBooks and Excel is REQUIRED,
  • At least 4 years of continuous experience as a Bookkeeper
  • At least 2 years completed of coursework in Finance or Accounting
  • Experience in non-profit accounting is desired but not required
  • Must be able to work independently without supervision
  • The best candidate for this excellent opportunity will be highly *ANALYTICAL* and able to multi task and complete tasks timely.
  • Must pay close attention to detail
  • Must be able work under pressure
  • Must have excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • Must be a team player
