This is a short term project. Outreach team members are responsible for conducting outreach efforts that are aimed at recruiting more scholars for the 2013-2014 academic school year. The team members will recruit for both the Gwinnett and Kirkwood locations. The outreach team will: distribute information, post flyers, create and develop community linkages, and manage a caseload of prospects to correspond with. In addition to this, team members will document and track their activity via daily and weekly reports that will be submitted to the supervisor.
Applicants will be expected to work 20-30 hours per week, between the hours of 1pm to 5pm. Team members will work Monday thru Friday and there could be some additional work hours over the weekends on an as needed basis.
-College Graduate with experience in one or more of the following areas: marketing, education, business, and public relations.
-The applicant should have strong organizational, communication, interpersonal skills. -Proficiency with Microsoft office
-Bilingual (Preferably English & Spanish)
-A post-secondary degree (i.e. associates, bachelors, masters, etc.)
-Transportation, and the ability to travel to designated locations in the DeKalb & Gwinnett communities daily.
-Team members will be paid $10 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement for travel. ($.55 per mile)
